Since leaving university, and on return from my travels, I had the pleasure of interning twice for Carolyn Quartermaine, whose work continues to inspire me.
I was lucky enough to be involved in styling Carolyn’s and Didier Mahieu’s room in The Glade, Sketch, for a private meal hosted by Fragonard Perfumeur.
Buckets of fresh flowers were arranged into bunches and placed in Carolyn’s hand painted pots, which were displayed around the room.
A beautiful table display was created for the guests, in keeping with the decor of The Glade.
It was an incredible experience seeing how Carolyn worked using one of her many talents, styling.
This was topped off with a delicious cocktail from Sketch and a very thoughtful thank you gift from Fragonard themselves!!
